- What does a Startup Directory listing include?
- A permanent entry in the /startups feed, your own detail page with screenshot, description and category, a dofollow "Visit site" link with tracking parameters so you can see clicks in your analytics, inclusion in the matching category page, and a sitemap entry. Listings are editable forever — pivots welcome.
- How much does it cost to list a startup?
- Bid from $15 in $5 steps. Higher bids rank higher, and you only pay the difference when you raise it. No subscription.
- Is the backlink dofollow?
- Yes. The Visit-site link on your listing page is a direct dofollow link to your site (not a redirect), with UTM parameters so the traffic is attributable in your analytics.
- Is there a review queue?
- No. Listings go live as soon as payment clears. We moderate after publish: listings that violate the content policy (illegal products, deceptive pages, adult content, or sites that stop resolving) are removed, at our discretion, with a refund where appropriate.
- What are the requirements to list?
- Your own domain (free-host subdomains like vercel.app or netlify.app are not accepted), a working website, a thumbnail, a category, and a description of at least 80 characters. One listing per domain.
- Do you rank or feature startups?
- Yes. The public board ranks by cumulative amount paid, with category pages using the same order. Listings at $0 sit below paid rows. Matching someone else's total does not pass them. You have to bid more. There are no upvotes.
- Is this a Product Hunt alternative?
- It is a quieter one. Product Hunt is a 24-hour launch contest. This is a startup directory: you list once, you stay listed, and rank comes from what you bid, not from upvotes. Use both if you want a launch day and a permanent page.
