Standly

Async standups in Slack · from a founder building for remote teams

First impression of the landing page

The headline says "Standups that don't drag", but I only learned it's a Slack bot from the screenshot halfway down. I'd put Slack in the first line. Pricing is clear and the free tier is generous. The testimonials have no names or photos, so they read as made up.

Would you use this? Why or why not?

Maybe

We already run standups in a Slack channel. I'd try it if it picked up that channel as-is, but I wouldn't switch tools just for this.

Is the pricing page clear?

Mostly. The jump from $8 to $15 per seat isn't explained, so I'd add one line on what the team plan adds.

Quick answer: LaunchPact's Feedback Exchange is a free way to get landing page feedback from other founders. List your Product Hunt launch on LaunchPact, give feedback on other founders' asks to earn credits (1 per helpful piece), then spend 3 credits to ask. Every piece includes a first impression of your landing page (at least 200 characters), whether the founder would use it and why, and answers to your 1–3 questions. Asks stay open 14 days with no cap on how many founders answer. Marking feedback "not helpful" needs an effort reason, so critical feedback still counts.

The problem

Why landing page feedback is so hard to get

"Roast my landing page" threads

Post "roast my startup" on Reddit and the replies depend on who scrolls past that day, in whatever format they like. Nobody has to answer the question you actually have.

AI landing page analyzers

Instant, but a model has never paid for software. It can grade your headline. It can't tell you whether a founder like your customer would use the product.

Friends and followers

People who like you are polite. You hear "looks great!" when you needed "I still don't get what it does."

What you get

Every landing page review has the same three parts

No one-line “looks good”. Founders can't send feedback until each part clears its minimum length.

First impression

At least 200 characters on what your landing page says to someone seeing it cold: what's clear, what's confusing, what they'd change.

Would you use it?

Yes, maybe, or no, plus at least 100 characters on why. The verdict you can't get from an analytics dashboard.

Answers to your questions

You write 1 to 3 questions, such as pricing, onboarding, or positioning. Each answer is at least 60 characters.

Want a certain kind of founder? Add an optional screening question (up to 120 characters) that they answer before they start. You'll see every answer.

How it works

Give feedback, then ask for yours

1

List your launch

Add your Product Hunt launch to LaunchPact. Listing is free, and the launch can be upcoming or already live.

2

Give feedback to earn credits

Pick asks from other founders and write feedback. Each piece marked helpful earns 1 credit. If the founder doesn't decide within 72 hours, it counts as helpful automatically.

3

Ask with 3 credits

Write 1 to 3 questions. Your ask stays open for 14 days, with no cap on how many founders answer.

4

Mark, reply, and show it off

Mark what helped (+10 trust for the writer), reply in a thread of up to 6 messages, and publish the best feedback on your public launch page.

Quality rules

Built so honest feedback still gets rewarded

Writers earn credit and trust only when you find their feedback useful, and you can't refuse it just because it stung.

"Not helpful" needs an effort reason

The only reasons are too short, off-topic, did not look at the product, or spam. You can't refuse someone credit because you didn't like their opinion.

Low-effort writers get paused

Once 5 or more of a founder's pieces have been judged, and fewer than half were helpful, they can't start new feedback for 14 days.

No farming between friends

A founder can give you feedback once every 30 days, so two friends can't trade credits back and forth.

Trust is on the line

Taking part needs a trust score of 30+, the same score LaunchPact uses for launch pacts. Feedback you mark helpful adds +10 to the writer's.

FAQ

Landing page feedback questions, answered

Yes. No money changes hands. Asking costs 3 credits, and you earn 1 credit for each piece of feedback you give that's marked helpful. You start with 0 credits, so you give feedback 3 times before your first ask. Established founders (trust above 100 and active on LaunchPact in the last 14 days) get their first ask free.

Yes. You need a Product Hunt launch listed on LaunchPact, either upcoming or already launched. Listing is free. Reddit launch listings don't count toward the exchange.

A roast thread gets whoever scrolls past that day, in whatever format they like. Here every piece has the same structure (a first impression, a would-you-use-it verdict, and answers to your questions) and the writer only earns credit and trust if you find it helpful.

A first impression of your landing page (at least 200 characters), yes/maybe/no on whether they'd use it with at least 100 characters on why, and an answer of at least 60 characters to each of your 1–3 questions. You can also add an optional screening question, such as "Do you manage a remote team?", that founders answer before they start.

Yes. Founders open the product URL from your launch listing, so it works as website feedback too. The first prompt is about your landing page, but your own questions can point them anywhere: onboarding, pricing, or the app itself.

It depends on how many founders are active, so there's no guaranteed turnaround. Your ask stays open for 14 days. It's listed under "New" for its first 48 hours and under "Ending soon" in its last 72. Founders who launch in your category see it first, and under "In your space".

Mark it not helpful and pick a reason: too short, off-topic, did not look at the product, or spam. The writer earns no credit, and founders whose feedback is mostly marked not helpful are paused from starting new feedback for 14 days.

Not for being critical. "Not helpful" only accepts effort reasons, so a founder who says they wouldn't use your product, and explains why, still earns their credit. That's usually the most useful feedback you'll get.

Yes. Feedback you marked helpful can be published to your public LaunchPact launch page under "Founder feedback", with a note that it was written through the exchange. You choose which pieces appear.

It sits between them. A 5 second test measures what people remember after a glance, and beta testers use your product over weeks. Here founders look at your landing page properly, tell you whether they'd use it, and answer your specific questions.

Other founders with a Product Hunt launch on LaunchPact and a trust score of at least 30. You can't review your own launch, and each founder can review you once every 30 days.

Each launch can have one open ask at a time. When it closes after 14 days, you can ask again for another 3 credits.
